PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved sterilizing filter apparatus.SOLUTION: A sterilizing type hand dryer is used for generating a flow of sterilized heated air for drying hands. The apparatus includes an electric control circuit for supplying electric power to the apparatus. The electric control circuit includes a cut-off mechanism body which disables power supply when a housing is opened. This suppresses possibility of electrocution of a user at the time of opening the housing to the minimum.
