PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for laying a compacted finishing layer, and a road surface finishing machine.SOLUTION: In this method for laying the finishing layer by the road surface finishing machine F with a screed B, the screed comprising a tamper device T and a smoothing plate 12 compacts at least the finishing layer, and smooths it superficially. The method makes a stroke (h) and/or a frequency (f) of a tamper device T remotely diversified because the finishing layer 3 is laid with a pavement thickness D and/or a laying velocity V set nonconstant throughout a pavement width (b) and in a horizontal axis direction with respect to a working direction R within the pavement width (b). In the road surface finishing machine suitable for the implementation of the method, the road surface finishing machine or the screed B is provided with an adjusting device E for making at least the strokes (h) of the tamper device T within the pavement width (b) locally different from one another. |
