PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matted laminate polyester film for releasing polarizing sheet, which has superior optical axis precision, and also has both visivility and defect-inspecting characteristics at the same time.SOLUTION: The matted laminate polyester film for releasing polarizing sheet satisfies the following requisites (1) to (3): (1) the haze is 2 to 10%; (2) the ten-point average roughness (SRz) of at least one surface of the laminate polyester film is 0.20 μm or more; and (3) the change amount of alignment angle in the film width direction is 5.0° or less per 500 mm.
