PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laver-culturing method, by which high quality laver can efficiently be produced without affecting the ecosystem.SOLUTION: The laver-culturing method comprises rotating a rotary brush 3 in a state nipping a laver net 14 between the rotary brush 3 and a fixed brush 7 set onto a laver net work ship 10, moving the laver net 14 with a hand-hauling drum 13 in the arrow N direction, and simultaneously moving the laver net work ship 10 in the arrow S direction to brush the laver net 14 with the rotary brush 3 and the fixed brush 7. Thereby, harmful pathogenic microorganisms (Pythium porphyrae, white-rot fungus, Olpidiopsis sp, or the like) and miscellaneous algae (green laver, diatom, and the like) parasitized on the laver net 14 and laver leaves can be washed off. When the laver net 14 is passed between the rotary brush 3 and the fixed brush 7, neutral hydrolyzed water MW is sprayed out from spray nozzles 5 placed on both the sides of the laver net 14 to the laver net 14. Thereby, the neutral hydrolyzed water MW is sprayed over the whole surface of the laver net 14. |
