PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling an injection molding machine capable of stabilizing measurement without requiring strict adjustment with respect to each material even when a material makes it difficult to form a back pressure during a measuring process.SOLUTION: In the measuring process of measuring a molten material, operation is divided into forced measuring operation and pressure correction measuring operation. In the forced measuring operation, measurement is performed by retracting a screw 7 while controlling the retracting speed of the screw 7 so that screw retracting speed B becomes determined retracting speed C and rotating the screw 7 at determined rotating speed. Before the screw retracting speed B becomes the determined retracting speed C, switching from the forced measuring operation to the pressure correction measuring operation is performed automatically. In the pressure correction measuring operation, back pressure D generated by pressure of the material supplied to inside of the screw 7 is detected and measurement is performed while screw retracting speed F is controlled so that the detected back pressure D becomes a predetermined value. The switching between the forced measuring operation and the pressure correction measuring operation is performed by pressure or the screw retracting speed. |
