PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer control device that operates to level the burden of reactive power and the number of operations of a tap switch when a transformer is loaded in a plurality of generator facilities.SOLUTION: The transformer control device 20 includes an information memory 17 for storing information about tap positions of other transformers 12 connected to a control target region 1a of a power system 1. If a system voltage of the control target region 1a is not less than a permissible deviation for a target voltage and the tap position of its own transformer 12 is higher than the tap position of another transformer 12, a tap controller 16 outputs a switch drive signal in a direction for lowering the tap position of the transformer 12 with respect to the loaded tap switch mechanism of its own device. If the system voltage of the control target region 1a is equal to or less than the permissible deviation for the target voltage and the tap position of its own transformer 12 is lower than the tap position of another transformer 12, the tap controller outputs a switch drive signal in a direction for making the tap position of the transformer 12 higher with respect to the loaded tap switch mechanism of its own device. |
