PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating a condition which would be benefited by stimulating hair growth.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating a condition which would be benefited by stimulating hair growth. The composition contains a peptide having at least 3 amino acids and a C-terminal functional group. The C-terminal functional group is selected from the group consisting of an epoxide, a -B(OR)group, an -S(OR)group and an -SOOR group, wherein R is H, an alkyl (C) or an aryl (C), provided that when the C-terminal functional group is -B(OR), the peptide is not leu-leu-leu, and when the C-terminal functional group is an epoxide, the compound is not epoxomicin. The compound inhibits proteasomal activities or production of proteasomal protein. |
