<p>Provided are a jig for forming an implant cavity, by which cutting of jaw bone with a drill can be minimized while avoiding the trouble of repeatedly replacing auxiliary tools, and a surgical instrument. The jig (1) is provided with a fixture (20), which extends from the bottom face of a chassis (10) and is inserted into an anterior cavity, and a bag member (30) provided around the peripheral side face of the fixture (20). By operating a hand piece to which the jig (1) is attached, the bag member (30) inflates within an anterior cavity (91a) to form an implant cavity. By using the jig (1), therefore, the trouble of repeatedly replacing auxiliary tools, as in the existing surgeries, can be avoided and the implant cavity can be formed merely by inserting the bag member (30) before inflation into the anterior cavity (91a) and then inflating the bag member (30). Thus, cutting of jaw bone with a drill can be minimized. In addition, the aforesaid method using the jig (1) is less invasive and has a lower risk of injuring nerves or vessels. Moreover, favorable initial fixation can be easily made even under severe conditions, for example, in the case of a bone with osteoporosis.</p> |
