PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strength prediction method for a hot press molded product, which properly predicts the strength of the hot press molded product when performing hot press molding on a metal plate.SOLUTION: The strength prediction method for a hot press molded product includes: generating a finite element method model and setting a hot press molding condition; performing coupled analysis by a heat transfer structure analyzing program; generating a machining CCT (Continuous Cooling Transformation) diagram based on the heating time of the metal plate, which has been set as the hot press molding condition, and the amount of machining of the metal plate, which is obtained by coupled analysis; calculating the hardness of each element through the use of the temperature history of the metal plate obtained by the coupled analysis, and the machining CCT diagram; and converting the calculated hardness into the strength. |
