PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption of a heat used for heating in a continuous furnace cooling a workpiece after heating it.SOLUTION: The continuous furnace includes: a heating treatment part 1 having a heating zone 11 heating a workpiece W by the heater 16; and a cooling treatment part 2 having a cooling zone 21 cooling the workpiece W heated in the heating zone 11. The continuous furnace further includes: a discharge duct 7 discharging gas in the cooling zone 21; air supply ducts 5 communicated with the discharge duct 7 and supplying discharge gas discharged by the discharge duct 7 to the heating zones; and air exhaust ducts 6 discharging gas used for heating the workpieces W in the heating zones and partially exposed to inside of the discharge duct 7. |
