PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface measuring device for gear which can conduct total inspection also for internal gear.SOLUTION: This invented surface measuring device for gear comprises a base 12, the first slider 13 attached so as to horizontally be movable, a rotary shaft 50 rotatably-prepared around a vertical axis 53, a gear supporting member 20 for supporting the gear 18, a first slider movement mechanism 17 for moving the first slider 13, a strut 23, the second slider 24 prepared so as to vertically be lifted, an arm 25, the second slider lifting mechanism 31 for vertically-moving the arm 25, a sensor mechanism 26 for detecting hardness on the surface of the gear 18, and a display/recording mechanism 32 for displaying and recording any detected information. The sensor mechanism 26 can approach the surface of the internal gear 18 by dropping the arm 25 from above the internal gear 18. Thus, hardness of the internal gear 18 can be measured by allowing the sensor mechanism 26 to approach surface of the internal gear 18. |
