PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base film for polarizing plate release type film, which can attain high accuracy, when the polarizing plate adhering to the release type film is inspected by crossed nicols method.SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polymer film containing 0.05 to 0.4 wt.% of inert particles is characterized by having a film surface roughness (Ra) of 11 to 25 nm, a mapping degree of ≥90%, and a haze value of 7 to 18%. The polymer film preferably comprises a polyester. |
