PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of efficiently reducing a control load when the control load related switching of a task is increased.SOLUTION: The image forming device having a plurality of load parts related to image formation includes: a task management device executing the task related to the operation of the load parts while switching the task in a time-division method; a load measurement unit measuring the control load of the task management device based on the execution state of the task; a determinator determining whether or not the control load exceeds a predetermined threshold value; and a load reducer controlling the operation of the load parts to lower productivity related to the image formation when the determinator determines that the control load is higher than the threshold value.
