PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a leaf spring for stabilizing the open state of a lid for a rice cooker from deviating from a predetermined position.SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a projection 13 on the substantial upper part of a hinged shaft 7 arranged at the rear part of a rice cooker body 1; the lid 8 axially stopped by the hinged shaft 7 and freely openably covering the surface of the rice cooker body 1; and the U-shaped leaf spring 12 facing to the projection 13 arranged at the rear part of the lid 8. When the lid is closed, the U-shaped empty part of the leaf spring 12 is arranged downward of the lid. When the lid is opened, the empty part of the U shape of the leaf spring 12 sandwiches the projection 13 and a fixed plate 18 is sandwiched between inside the U shape of the leaf spring 12 and the lid 8 so that the drop-out direction from the set position of the leaf spring 12 is supported by the fixed plate 18 and thus, the leaf spring is reliably hold in the predetermined position. |
