PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for tentioning a main rope, which is used for a steel pole so as to secure a worker's safety on a building site etc., and which is improved in operability and the securement of the safety.SOLUTION: This device for tentioning the main rope includes a base body, a lever body which has a base end journaled on one end of the base body, a belt fixing plate which is provided in the base body and which can fix a belt inserted thereinto via a belt through-hole, and a locking mechanism which is provided at each of the other end of the base body and the free end of the lever body and which locks the free end so that the free end cannot come off the other end in the closing of the lever body. The locking mechanism comprises a pair of right and left of locking claw portions which are formed on the other end side of the base body, an operation rod member which is provided with a movable lock rod laid in a penetrating state at the free end via a pair of right and left guide slots formed at the free end of the lever body, and an urging member which is disposed on opposed supporting walls so as to constantly urge the operation rod member in the direction of the free end of the lever body. |
