PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control structure, free from restraint on a building plan, exhibiting a stable energy absorbing performance even in a large deformation area, and holding down the number of components of the vibration control structure to achieve construction in a simple procedure and restrain increase in cost.SOLUTION: A vibration control damper 4 formed of steel material extending in the axial direction of a beam 3 along the beam surface is interposed between a column 2 and the end of the beam 3, with one end thereof fixed to the column 2 and with the other end fixed to the end of the beam 3. The vibration control damper 4 is formed in such a shape that the center of figure of a sectional form as viewed in a section vertical to the beam axis is eccentric to the beam surface side from the center of gravity of applied force when the compressive force in the beam axial direction is applied to the vibration control damper 4. |
