PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic gel whose elastic modulus varies greatly upon magnetic field application.SOLUTION: The magnetic gel includes a polymer material, a magnetic particle, a magnetic fine particle having a volume-average particle diameter of ≤10% based on that of the magnetic particle, and a solvent, wherein the magnetic particle preferably has a dispersibility, the magnetic particle is preferably an iron oxide particle, the elastic modulus varies reversibly upon magnetic field application, and the elastic modulus preferably varies nearly proportional to the magnetic flux density of the applied magnetic field. |
