<p>Disclosed are a stable high-output semiconductor laser array and a method for manufacturing the semiconductor laser array. Specifically disclosed is a semiconductor laser array (100), which comprises: a substrate (101) that is provided, in a main surface, with recessed step portions (101a, 101b, 101c) that are long in the direction parallel to the exit direction of laser light; a laminated structure; and a plurality of optical waveguides (113a, 113b, 113c) that are formed to be parallel to the step portions (101a, 101b, 101c). The distance from the cross-directional center of at least one optical waveguide among the plurality of optical waveguides (113a, 113b, 113c) to the cross-directional center of the step portions (101a, 101b, 101c) is different from the distance from the cross-directional center of the other optical waveguides among the plurality of optical waveguides (113a, 113b, 113c) to the cross-directional center of the step portions (101a, 101b, 101c).</p> |
