<p>A liquid crystal display device is provided with: a first substrate, on which a reference potential main line that supplies a reference potential to a plurality of subpixels and a switching element possessed by each plurality of subpixels, are disposed; and a second substrate, on which a display signal line that supplies a display signal, is disposed. The liquid crystal capacitance possessed by each plurality of subpixels is formed between the first substrate and the second substrate. Pixels composed of a plurality of subpixels that correspond to a plurality of luminance regions are arranged in a matrix. The plurality of subpixels that corresponds to the same luminance region is arranged adjacently in the row direction in between pixels that are adjacent in the row direction when a prescribed half tone is displayed.</p> |
