The arrangement (1) has an opening (2) formed in a wall (3) of a plate-shaped component i.e. body wall of motor vehicle, and another opening (4) formed in a wall (5) of a component i.e. illumination device. A fastening element (6) is brought into a position in which the element is engaged to the openings, where changing of distance of the openings is caused through the rotation of the fastening element around a longitudinal axis (L). Supporting elements (30) for the fastening element are arranged at a distance (X) to each other in an area of the opening of the plate-shaped component.
