PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for as fully securely carrying out a printing plate as possible, for example, even when a trouble occurs in an operation mode where carrying the printing plate out of a printer is performed by a separately driven and connection-released plate cylinder.SOLUTION: In the method for replacing the printing plates (6 and 7) in a rotary press including a plurality of printers of a form where the plate cylinder (23) has a peculiar driving device (4) respectively in the printer in a plurality of printers and the plate cylinder can independently be driven separately from an attached rubber blanket cylinder (22) in the respective printers (1, 2 and 3) via the driving device (4), each rubber blanket cylinder (22) is moved at a peripheral speed (V) only slightly higher than the attached plate cylinder (23) when one or a plurality of printing plates (7) is carried out of the printer (3) in at least one operation mode during a process to replace the printing plate. |
