PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device achieving early completion of catalyst warming-up while suppressing deterioration of fuel economy.SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device includes: an adsorbent adsorbing HC in exhaust gas when the temperature of the adsorbent is below emission temperature and discharging the adsorbed HC when the temperature of the adsorbent reaches a temperature higher than the emission temperature; a catalyst oxidizing the HC discharged from the adsorbent when the temperature of the catalyst reaches a temperature higher than activation temperature; and a heat recovery device which is arranged upstream of the adsorbent and which recovers heat from exhaust gas by performing heat exchange with exhaust gas. In a warm-up request state with the temperature of the adsorbent being below the emission temperature and the temperature of the catalyst being below the activation temperature, heat-recovery reduction control is performed so that an amount of heat recovered by the heat recovery device is reduced (S13), engine-output increase control is performed so that the output of an internal combustion engine is increased (S18), and output-power increase control (drive load increase control) is performed (S18). |
