PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter or the like, wherein a transparent protective layer does not disturb alignment of liquid crystal in a display region while the number of processes is reduced in the manufacturing process of the color filter.SOLUTION: The color filter includes: a substrate; a black matrix that is formed on the substrate and has a plurality of openings; a first colored layer for display, having an isolated pattern shape formed in the openings; a first colored layer for column, formed on the black matrix; a second colored layer for display, having an isolated pattern shape formed in the openings; a second colored layer for column, formed on the first colored layer for column; a third colored layer for display, having an isolated pattern shape formed in the openings; a third colored layer for column, formed on the second colored layer for column; a laminated column formed by the first to third colored layers for column; and the transparent protective layer for covering the black matrix, respective colored layers, and the laminated column. The end of the first colored layer for column is separated from the ends of the second and third colored layers for display by 1 μm or longer. |
