PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a user in time of candidate selection by displaying a candidate in a state suitable for an operation situation of the user.SOLUTION: The candidate display device includes: an input operation reception part receiving input operation of the user to an input device; a touch selection control part making the candidate be displayed on a display selection device such that the user can perform touch selection, and receiving the touch selection from the user about the candidate made to be displayed on the display selection device; a candidate acquisition part acquiring at least one candidate determined based on the input operation from the user received in the input operation reception part; an input operation situation acquisition part acquiring an input operation situation including information related to a position of the input operation finally performed in the input device; and a display position determination part determining a display position of the candidate made to be displayed on the display selection device based on the input operation situation.
