SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING TICKET MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable ticket examination processing without complicated control by using a ticket medium which has two-dimensional codes.SOLUTION: A ticket medium processing system is equipped with: a first storage means which stores entry information showing that entry processing has been performed based on the two-dimensional codes of the ticket medium in a ticket gate machine installed in any station from a first station to a second station; a negative information generation means which generates negative information which disapproves the entry processing and exit processing based on the two-dimensional codes of the ticket medium, based on receiving the same entry information as the entry information stored in the first storage means from the ticket gate machine installed in any station of the first railroad company of the stations from the first station to the second station; a transmission means which transmits the negative information generated by the negative information generation means to a second server; and a first distribution means to distribute the negative information generated by the negative information generation means to the ticket gate machine installed in each station of the first railroad company among the stations from the first station to the second station.
