PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping article effectively using characteristics of isotonic solution.SOLUTION: The wiping article includes a wiping material 5, and a package 6 for storing the wiping material, wherein the wiping material is impregnated with the isotonic solution 3 derived from seawater or deep seawater, in the wiping raw material 2, the package 6 is retort-processed by a retorting device 30 with its tightly sealing the wiping material 5 therein, and the wiping material is formed into either one of a wet tissue 51, a paper hand-towel 52 and a wet cotton 53, thereby dispensing with the use of preservative. The deep seawater is cold water N specific to Sea of Japan, and the isotonic solution is formed by regulating the cold water N specific to Sea of Japan to an osmotic pressure of 200-400 mOsm, which is similar to the physiologic saline, by dilution water 4, especially deep-water-based freshwater n1 separated from the cold water specific to Sea of Japan. Alternatively, the wiping material may be impregnated with an auxiliary component 7 along with the isotonic solution. |
