PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress amplification of encoding distortion accompanying sharpening when decoding an encoded image, and carrying out the sharpening of the decoded image.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus 1 is equipped with: a decoding unit 10 which decodes an encoded moving image signal 101 which is encoded; an encoding execution information acquisition unit 20 which acquires quantization information showing accuracy of quantization when generating the encoded moving image signal 101; a sharpening processing unit 50 which performs sharpening processing for a decoded moving image signal 102 which is decoded by the decoding unit 10; and a sharpening control unit 40 which makes control so as to suppress effect of sharpening processing accompanying reduction of the precision, based on the acquired quantization information. |
