PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for a conveyor which comprises a large trough index though the width is small and a large tensile strength, and also provide a belt conveyor for conveying sediment.SOLUTION: This belt 1 for a conveyor includes a core canvas 9 formed by knitting warp 7 and weft 8 and cover rubbers 10, 11 installed so as to cover the upper and lower surfaces of the core canvas 9, respectively. The core canvas 9 is formed so that the density factors of the warp 7 and the weft 8 come within the range of 0.42-0.531. The cover rubbers 10, 11 is formed so that the hardnesses thereof come within the range of 57 or more and less than 63. |
