PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective material mounting structure capable of shortening a construction period and simplifying mounting operations when a protective material is mounted at an edge of a concrete structure; and to provide the protective material.SOLUTION: A buffer material 12 is provided in the covering state of clutching outside and leading end portions of a steel strength member 11 formed in a cross-sectional shape bent at a proper angle; the protective material 10 is constituted by welding a high nut 13 to the inside of the strength member 11; and an eyebolt 14 is screwed into a high nut 13. A J-shaped anchor 15 is loosely inserted into the annular portion 14a of the eyebolt 14. A bolt hole 10a passing through the protective material 10 is formed; and a holding nut 17 is provided on the inside surface of the strength member 11 (shown in Fig.3). A holding bolt 16 inserted through a through-hole 20a of a form 20 is also inserted through the bolt hole 10a, and tightened to the holding nut 17, so as to fix the protective material 10 to the form 20. The J-shaped anchor 15 can be linked to the eyebolt 14 at a slight degree of freedom, and arranged without interference with bar arrangement; and the concrete structure is constructed when concrete is placed in a section surrounded by the form 20. |
