PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel which prevents transparency of a transparent conductive film configuring an input position detection electrode from being significantly deteriorated even when the connection section of a flexible wiring board to a cover glass is hidden by a lower layer side print layer, and a method for manufacturing the touch panel.SOLUTION: In a touch panel 1, an input position detection electrode 21 or a periphery wiring 27 is formed at a second surface 90b on the side opposite to a first surface 90a of an input operation face side in a cover glass 90, and a flexible wiring board 35 is connected to the second face 90b. At the second surface 90b side of the cover glass 90, a light shielding print layer 93 overlapping the whole overlap section of the flexible wiring board 35 with the cover glass 90 is formed on the lower layer side of the peripheral wiring 27. A colored print layer 94 is formed on the upper layer side of the peripheral wiring 27 in a peripheral area 2b. |
