PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithographic printing original plate attaining direct plate making by an ink-jet method, having excellent image quality and combining high printing durability and antifouling properties, and a method for making a lithographic printing plate.SOLUTION: The lithographic printing original plate includes an image receiving layer A containing inorganic fine particles as a main component on a waterproof support body, and an image receiving layer B containing cationic colloidal silica as a main component, or containing colloidal silica as a main component and containing a cationic compound, on the side further separated from the support body than the image receiving layer A.
