PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt for electrophotography, which simultaneously satisfies "rubber elasticity", "semiconductivity" and "mold release characteristic for toner" which can prevent generation of an abnormal image even when receiving stress repeatedly for a long period of time in the image forming process of primary transfer and secondary transfer, and is excellent in a toner transfer rate, toner cleanability and durability and its manufacturing method, in order to achieve and provide color high image quality electrophotographic image print (print) coping with not only plain paper and paper exclusive for OA but also various recording paper sheets such as coated paper, rough paper or thick paper.SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer belt for electrophotography includes a surface rubber layer which contains an elastomer having unsaturated carbon in a main chain and halogenated hydrocarbon and is formed by nitrogen plasma treatment. |
