PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire, capable of improving low fuel consumption performance, abrasion resistance, and cutting and chipping resistance with good balance, and to provide a tire for heavy load having a tread produced using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tire comprises a rubber component, silica, and a silane coupling agent, wherein the rubber component comprises a modified natural rubber whose phosphorus content is ≤200 ppm, and a butadiene rubber; in the 100 mass% of the rubber component, the content of the modified natural rubber is 65-95 mass%, and the content of the butadiene rubber is 5-35 mass%; and on the basis of 100 pts.mass of the rubber component, the content of the silica is 10-60 pts.mass. |
