PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device for an engine, certainly performing abutment and retainment between a flange on the side of a throttle body and a flange on the side of a manifold without producing distortion of a throttle body caused by a molded resin shrinkage cavity.SOLUTION: The throttle body 1 and a control housing 3 are integrally connected to each other through an integrally connecting section 4 positioned on the periphery of the throttle body 1, a plurality of fastening bosses 12a, 12b, 12c fastened to the flange 41 on the side of the manifold by fastening members 43, 44 are formed in the control housing 3 while avoiding the integrally connecting section 4, and a space 14 is formed in each zone with these fastening bosses 12a, 12b, 12c and throttle body 1 connected to each other at the shortest distance. When the control housing 3 is formed, the molded resin shrinkage cavity generated around each of the fastening bosses is absorbed by the space 14. |
