PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator in which stored fruits and vegetables are prevented from damaging by hitting a part of an upper row container and fruits and vegetables with different heights can be stored separately right and left.SOLUTION: In the refrigerator having a drawer type vegetable chamber 26, the vegetable chamber 26 is vertically separated from other storage chambers located thereabove by a partition wall 38, the vegetable chamber 26 is composed of an upper container 36 and a lower container 37, the upper container 36 has an open top and a bottom face 36a composed of an approximately horizontal plane in a right and left direction, and the partition wall 38 has a stepped part 39 formed in a right and left direction of the vegetable chamber so that the fruits and vegetables can be separately distinguished by size in a top side space of the upper container 36 and the fruits and vegetables can be prevented from damaging when being placed because the bottom face 36a of the upper container which is a placing surface of the fruits and vegetables is the approximately horizontal plane. |
