<p>A process for manufacturing a photoelectric conversion device, which comprises the steps of: adding a powder of a chalcogenated product of a Group-III-B element to an organic solvent containing a single source precursor comprising a Group-I-B element, a Group-III-B element and a chalcogen element to prepare a semiconductor-forming solution; and forming a semiconductor containing a (Group-I)-(Group-III)-(Group-VI) compound using the semiconductor-forming solution.</p>
