PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a predistortion system and method for a power amplification apparatus.SOLUTION: A predistortion system includes: an analog-to-digital conversion section 510 for converting an analog input signal into a digital signal; a communication control section 550 for transferring amplification characteristic information from a power amplification apparatus to a predistortion calculation section; the predistortion calculation section 560 for calculating inverse amplification characteristic information of the amplification characteristic information on the basis of the amplification characteristic information from the communication control section and the input signal from the analog-to-digital conversion section; a predistortion section 520 for predistorting the digital input signal from the analog-to-digital conversion section in accordance with the inverse amplification characteristic information from the predistortion calculation section; a digital-to-analog conversion section 530 for converting the digital input signal from the predistortion section into an analog signal; and the power amplification apparatus 540 for power-amplifying the signal from the digital-to-analog conversion section, outputting the power-amplified signal, and transferring the amplification characteristic information to the communication control section. |
