Disclosed is a printing system having a passage switching section which can switch a passage way of a sheet between a first passage and a second passage that are located in parallel with each other and which can turn the sheet that is passing through the first passage over. In the printing system, a first feeding section through which the sheet is introduced into the first passage and a second feeding section through which the sheet is introduced into the second passage are located adjacent to each other, and a first ejection section through which the sheet traveling along the first passage is ejected and a second ejection section through which the sheet traveling along the second passage is ejected are also located adjacent to each other.
