PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a sealing member from being forgotten to be detached and to miniaturize a mechanism needed for detachment of the sealing member.SOLUTION: In a developing device including a first conveyance screw 143 for supplying a developer to a developing roller 141 and a second conveyance screw 142 for circulating the developer from the developing roller 141, the opening between the first conveyance screw 143 and the developing roller 141 is closed by the sealing member 160 installed to a frame body 170, and the sealing member 160 is automatically removed when using the image forming apparatus. A guide part 180 for folding back the sealing member 160 and changing the extending direction to a direction perpendicular to the screw shaft 142a of the second conveyance screw 142 is arranged at the frame body 170 and the sealing member 160 is wound by the screw shaft 142a.
