PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus wherein a false color is not easily recognized at the end of a screen.SOLUTION: When an arbitrary red subpixel 152 at the left end of an image display region 23A is defined as a first subpixel and an arbitrary red subpixel 152 at a part other than the left end of the image display region 23A is defined as a second subpixel, the brightness of an image displayed by the first subpixel is lower than the brightness of an image displayed by the second subpixel when the image data of the same gradation are supplied from the outside to the first subpixel and the second subpixel. Also, when an arbitrary blue subpixel 154 at the right end of the image display region 23A is defined as a first subpixel and an arbitrary blue subpixel 154 at a part other than the right end of the image display region 23A is defined as a second subpixel, the brightness of an image displayed by the first subpixel is lower than the brightness of an image displayed by the second subpixel when the image data of the same gradation are supplied from the outside to the first subpixel and the second subpixel. |
