PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infusion pump which eliminates the need to exchange a battery by automatically charging the battery while the battery is installed on an infusion pump.SOLUTION: The infusion pump 10 comprises a rotor unit 31 which works as an infusion feeding unit for feeding drug solution when a cassette 20 with an infusion tube 21 for introducing the drug solution is mounted detachably on the infusion pump; the battery B which works as a power source to drive the rotor unit 31 and is chargeable repeatedly; a power source adaptor 70 which is connected to a commercial alternating current power source as a power source to drive the rotor unit 31 and carries out A/D conversion to charge the battery B; a control section 100; and a power source on/off operation section 150. When the cassette 20 is mounted on the infusion pump, the power source on/off operation section sends an ON signal to the control section 100 to turn on the power source that supplies the rotor unit 31. When the cassette 20 is removed, the power source on/off operation section sends an OFF signal to the control section 100 to turn off the power source that supplies the rotor unit 31. |
