PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink storage container hardly causing a malfunction in the optical detection part of a printer, when detaching the ink storage container attached to the printer.SOLUTION: In the ink storage container 1, the part to be detected 4 of the ink storage container 1 faces the optical detection part 15 when the ink storage container 1 is attached and a second part to be optically detected 5 faces the optical detection part 15 during movement for the attachment of the ink storage container 1, however after the ink storage container 1 is attached, the second part to be optically detected 5 does not face the optical detection part 15. |
