PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device management system, a remote management apparatus, a device management method and program for saving time and cost required for initial introduction.SOLUTION: The device management system includes: a device management apparatus which is provided with a connection notification receiving section for receiving a connection notification of a device, a device information transmitting/receiving section which acquires device information including a device ID and a product ID from the device, and transmits the device information to a remote management apparatus 300, and a diagnostic information transmitting section which receives a diagnostic program from the remote management apparatus 300 and transmits the diagnostic program to the device as diagnostic information; and the remote management apparatus 300 which is provided with a diagnostic program generation section 305 for generating the diagnostic program on the basis of the device ID and the product ID and a diagnostic information transmitting section 307 for transmitting the generated diagnostic program to the device management apparatus. |
