PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin for toners, which is excellent in anti-staining property for carriers and charging rate while maintaining excellent low-temperature fixability, and to provide a toner for electrophotography containing the binder resin.SOLUTION: The binder resin for toners includes core/shell particles each including a core portion containing a crystalline polyester obtained by polycondensing an alcohol component containing a 2-12C aliphatic diol and a carboxylic acid component containing an 8-12C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid compound in an amount of 70-100 mol%, and a non-crystalline resin (A) obtained by polycondensing an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component containing at least one succinic acid compound selected from the group consisting of an alkyl (9-18C) succinic acid and an alkenyl (9-18C) succinic acid in an amount of 3-60 mol%, and a shell portion containing a non-crystalline resin (B) obtained by polycondensing a carboxylic acid component and an alcohol component containing a 2-5C aliphatic dialcohol in an amount of ≥80 mol%. |
