PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for cutting of an irregular strip, capable of precisely cutting while guiding an irregular strip material, even when the irregular strip material is fed while meandering, when cutting the irregular strip material with an irregular cross-sectional shape into a predetermined width.SOLUTION: In the cutting method for cutting the irregular strip into the predetermined width, upper and lower round blades 3R, 3L cutting both sides of the irregular strip material 12 are incorporated into round blade cassettes 1. The upper and lower round blades 3R, 3L in both round blade cassettes 1R, 1L are matched to the cutting width of the irregular strip 13. A guide member 15 guiding the stepped portion of the irregular strip material 12 is provided between both round blade cassettes 1R, 1L. The irregular strip material 12 are cut while being fed into both round blade cassettes 1R, 1L, and cut while both round blade cassettes 1R, 1L are being moved in the width direction in accordance with the displacement in the width direction of the irregular strip material 12. |
