PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable rotation of a motor only when an angle between an axis of a driver bit and a normal line of a screw fastening surface is within a fixed value without requiring maintenance of attentiveness of a screw fastening worker.SOLUTION: An electric screw driver with tilt detection function incorporate a triaxial acceleration sensor for detecting the angle of the axis of the driver bit 12 to a gravity direction, stores the angle of the axis detected by the triaxial acceleration sensor in a memory as a screw fastening angle when the normal line of the screw fastening surface 2 and the axis of the driver bit become coincident with each other in a tilt detection mode, and enables the rotation of the motor for driving the driver bit only when a difference between the screw fastening angle stored in the memory and the angle of the axis detected by the triaxial acceleration sensor is within a predetermined angle in a normal operation mode. |
