Known framless solar modules are screwed directly into a substrate by means of a module rail that is glued from below such that individual solar modules can not be removed, or are secured by point-loaded clamping plates that effect the optical overall impression. According to the claimed photovoltaic unit, each module rail (03) is coupled to a substrate rail (06) that is detachably connected to the substrate (05). Initially, a lateral displacement is no longer possible. Module and substrate rails (03/06) have principally the same profile. At least one connecting element (15) engages in lateral guide rails (12) on module and substrate rails (03/06) such that the solar modules (02) can not be lifted by wind forces. Said connection element can be embodied, preferably, as a slide (19) that can be displaced and operated on the module and substrate rail (03/06) by a sufficiently wide running joint (01) between the solar modules (02). In order to remove a solar module (02) from the matrix, the slides (19) are displaced in a captive manner below adjacent solar modules (02). Said type of securing does not effect the aesthetic overall impression of a photovoltaic unit (00) comprising frameless solar modules (02) and is particularly easy to mount. |
