PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for decorating a surface to be decorated of a three dimensional structure by hot stamping.SOLUTION: The method for decorating the surface 4 to be decorated having the three dimensional structure in a base material 2 by hot stamping with the usage of an AG pad 17 for a three dimensional surface having a soft pressing surface 171 and a heating part 173 for heating the pressing surface 171 therein includes an undercoat layer forming step for interposing an undercoat layer 19 between the AG pad 17 and the surface to be decorated 4 of the base material 2, pressing the undercoat layer 19 to the surface to be decorated 4 by the AG pad 17, and laminating the undercoat layer 19 on the surface to be decorated 4; and a decorative layer forming step for interposing a decorative layer 29 between the AG pad 17 and the undercoat layer 19, pressing the decorative layer 29 to the undercoat layer 19 by the AG pad 17 and laminating the decorative layer 29 on the undercoat layer 19.
