PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic mold for casting, which can shorten a degassing path between a cavity and a degassing device.SOLUTION: The metallic mold 1 for casting includes a fixed mold 10 and a movable mold 20 that can move forward and backward relative to the fixed mold. A cavity 1a is demarcated by the fixed mold and the movable mold. A fitting hole 10a is formed in the fixed mold, and a degassing device unit 50 is fitted and housed inside the fitting hole. On the circumferential face of the fixed mold, a through hole 51 communicating with the fitting hole is formed. The degassing device unit is configured to be pushed out from the fitting hole by means of a wedge member 52 which is inserted from the through hole, reaches the fitting hole and enters between the degassing device unit and a wall face constituting the fitting hole. |
