PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for effective discharge of the air inside a detachable developing device to the outside of a device body.SOLUTION: A second support frame 51 for supporting a developing unit 8 is turned between an attaching/detaching position, at which the developing unit 8 is removable and a developing position at which the developing unit 8 can supply toner to a photoreceptor drum 5. A cylindrical second relay part 53 is provided on the back surface side frame part 51a of the second support frame 51, and the third opening end part 53a of the second relay part 53 passes through the second support frame 51 on the second turning axis Y of the second support frame 51, is rotatably supported by a back surface side plate 50a, and is fitted with the second opening 55a of a body side duct 55. Meantime, when the developing unit 8 is mounted on the second support frame 51, a fourth opening end part 53b of the second relay part 53 is connected with the first opening 47a of the exhaust part 47 of the developing unit 8. |
